I am bored to death here at work ...
I'm so tired, so bored - burnt out for sure. Besides the SSDD, here's what's been going on:
We are fostering this new kid a.k.a. MILO:
He has hip problems and needs one more surgery. Luckily, our vet is doing this pro-bono - otherwise, this fella wouldn't have a chance - the CACC would have just put him down. He's on his 2nd day with us and so far, he's been behaving.
I have discovered this new thing through my vet and the shelter where we got this fella from: http://www.igive.com/ Here's how it works, if you shop online, go through the iGive mall and there are some stores listed there that will donate a portion of sales proceeds to your charity of choice. I have signed up for the Sean Casey Animal Rescue. There are a bunch of brand name stores you can purchase stuff from.
I am feeling a bit depressed here, starting to feel like I'm waiting for "Godot." For those of you who don't know, I've been waiting for this so called "chance of a lifetime" (which is hitting me for the second time) to come to fruition. *sigh*
