Its been quite some time ...

... since I have blogged. Look, I've been busy - worked to death and underpaid - the usual. Summer is halfway through and I still haven't been on vacation, nor the beach, etc. Don't know what I'm going to do yet either. So, let's just update you on the things that have occurred over the past 3 - 4 months since my last post:

  1. There was an electrical problem a couple of weeks ago in my building. Thank God it wasn't as hot as its been over the past 3 days.
  2. Steve, as of next week will finally be out of school. Yes, it is true. He will graduate and he has beaten Van Wilder's 7-year record.
  3. Chester and Zorro are doing well. Chester thinks he's a cat - actually he's an AC hog. See picture below.
  4. Did some dog-sitting for my sister, took Chester and Zorro with me. It was a tough and enlightening week. Worth the experience, as I am now reconsidering my third dog. =)
  5. Did a day trip to Mohegan Sun - was a fun road trip. Next time, we'll do Foxwoods, thought the hospitality there isn't so good.
  6. Went to three birthday parties, two were dinners and the other was a Latin Club - LQ. Turns out, its been years since I've been to one. I think I even shocked some neighbors, I actually clean up well!
  7. Oh yes, my bathroom is falling apart. The hits just keep coming! Turns out there's a leak in between the walls and now the tiles are falling off.
  8. Since Steve hasn't updated the pigeon saga, let me do a quick recap. As soon as the second batch of chicklings were born, they were gruesomely slaughtered. Yeah, had bits and pieces of two chicklings all over the balcony. Funny thing is, there - miraculously - appeared - another - egg. But with the slaughtering, everything pigeon related on the balcony was immediately remove, so one unfortunate egg never made it alive. But then again, there was no chance for life anyway, given the mother pigeon abandoned it - probably after witnessing the slaughter. Perhaps it was Cluster - the squirrel that knocks on my window for food, maybe the local hawk or bats from the park. Darwinism.

I can't seem to think of anything else to report.
